CORRECT ANSWER: e

i wonder that everyday

Freedom is great, but what's bad is that too many people take advantage of the freedom to not participate in government. Government by the people works only if the people exercise their rights.

hi!

I am a USA CItizen. I think all countries are great. Some people want to come here because they see all the things we have and people have jobs and cars etc. BUT, what they do not see is here ...You work!!! Tehere are no siestas. You go to work at 7 and leave at 5 and possible get 30 minites to eat luinch and continue. Here you work hard and alot. You work and retire and die. There is not FAmily and food time. Famiy is all dispersed and food on the run. We could learn alot from your country where the meal and family around the table are so important.

We have freedom of speech, but it is abused also. And all governments control the countries and things always seem better somewhere else. Stay where you are. You live in a beautidul land.

The main reason can be summed up in one word...freedom. We have the ability in this country to live our lives with relative independence. Government control is really pretty limited, and that gives us the opportunity to be and do what we want, where we want (within certain limits, of course).

You can do anything here. All you need is the drive and determination. It doesn't matter who you are, where you were born or who your parents were. As long as you are willing to work for it then you can achieve it.

To me, it's not that America in itself is so great, but it's the original ideas of America that makes it so great. Freedom, equality and so forth. Most people in America are very good people, but the arrogance of the government gives us a bad name. Very few people realize how much good America does around the world. Do you know how many billions of dollars America (takes from the American people) to give to so many other countries? Are we ever thanked for this? No, we are not. The world thinks that America is a bottomless pit of gold. It is not. There are poor people in America starving.. yes starving, and yet, we still give to the poor all around the globe.

The Founders made this country great, but it seems like everyone since them has been trying to destroy it. We consume too much.

I lived in Recoleta in Buenos Aires as a porteno for about a year with my teenage daughter, taking the subway to work and seeing all the sights. Yours is a beautiful land, with lovely people. But the tent villages of descamisadoes and beggars were sad, and the random violence and unexplained political upheavals (kidnap of Maradona's judge) were unsettling.

Since my return about 10 years ago, I have seen this country become more lawless and somewhat repressive. I sometimes wish people from here could spend a year in your country so that they would fight harder to keep our society open, safe, and free.

America has its faults, no doubt. We as a nation haven't always made the correct decisions with regard to policy. However, even considering all that, America is still the single greatest force for good the world has ever known. No other nation gives as much in foreign aid, no other nation gives more assistance during natural disasters, no other nation does more to advance the cause of human rights in countries where people are oppressed. We are not perfect, but we are vital to the cause of human freedom.

As for those who say they want to move to Canada because America is a bad place, I say, what's stopping you? Put your money where your mouth is. It's real easy to talk; actions speak louder than words.

It use to be great, but that was more than 35 years ago.

Lets see, hmmmmm. How about freedom to vote for your government, instead of having a dictator who serves at will? Maybe being able to freely exchange ideas and not be persecuted (or prosecuted ) for opinions or ideas that differ from the majority? The standard of living here is the best in the world, as is the opportunity to make a living if you work hard. I could go on but these questions make me tired, just look around, watch the news and see the conditions that many parts of the world live under.

Simple...FREEDOM!

Throughout our country's winding path,
I wonder the number who have given it much thought,
Taking for granted what many do not have yet,
Forgetting her bloody cost being won and kept.

It allows our children to be themselves,
Reaching out with their imagination,
Like building castles out of sand,
Or just drawing mom and dad holding their hand.

It gave us the bill of rights and fairness under the law,
Permits worshiping as we please and voting our choice,
Fosters sowing our own seeds regardless of flaw,
Enables us to dissent, debate, and raise our voice.

It is standing united for what we hold true,
Providing comfort and aid to others since independence won,
Pledging allegiance to the red, white, and blue.
It is what we should always hold dear... Freedom!

The freedoms we have. The freedom to worship as we choose, the freedom to live independent of the government; we are the "melting pot" of the world. We also have freedom of speech, which lets people say idiotic things like "the present administration stole the election", "everybody since the founding fathers are trying to destory America", "religious bigots who won't let science and biology into the classrooms", etc. These people are called "liberals" or "Democrats", and they tend to whine about everything and everyone. Sad but true. You can even criticize the President and not worry about someone coming to put you in prison or kill you and/or your family. We're not perfect here, but we are free.

Well, if I want to, I can post ignorant information about my country and my government; I can make stupid comments about wanting to leave all this behind and move elsewhere; I can disagree with the choices that those that I voted into office (by the way, the government as a whole, not just the president) make every day; I can shop anywhere, eat anywhere, visit any state that I want, as well as other countries; and basically do it all without anyone else in this country telling me when or how.

Oh, and by the way, North America is some of THE most beautiful, and diverse real estate in the world. Just take a slow look around at the gorgeous lakes, rivers, mountains, beaches, ocean, deserts, etc. Maybe we should all slow down and take a better look and stop taking for granted all that we DO have, instead of bitching so much about what we don't!!!! Take a better gander at the definition of personal accountability and responsibility, you might learn something new! Action - not reaction ladies and gentlemen.

why are you asking this under the category ARGENTINA??

Because it is able to borrow money it doesnt have.

Brief answer to your question: absolutely nothing.
