What is the population in Argentina?

The current population of Argentina is around 36 million of which almost half live in the province of Buenos Aires.

95% of Argentineans are white and principally descendants of Italians and Spaniards. With the pressure of the massive European immigration the indigenous Indian population has practically disappeared.

The pure indigenous population, the Mapuches, Collas, Tobas, Matacos and Chiriguanos, amount to 0.5% of the population
