For a 21 year old male, Is Mar del Plata or Bariloche a better place to visit?

I've alread visited Barilouche and had an amazing time. When I visit Argentina again which place should I spend most of my time?

What tastes better - an apple or an orange? It's all a matter of perspective.

I personally was underwhelmed by Mar del Plata. Other people will tell you it's the greatest place in the world -- it's a subjective judgement. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but mine is that Mar del Plata is overrated. I've never been to Bariloche, but I have been to Salta, Jujuy, and Mendoza. All three are great.

Damn, that's easy!! I can't believe that a 21-year-old male even asked this!!! Bariloche all the way!!

Depends bro. When are you going? If you go during the summertime in Argentina....then a young man can't do any better than the beaches of Mar del Plata.
If you're going during the winter, then Bariloche which is like an Alpine European city is definitely happening. The beaches of Mar del Plata will be dead during the winter.
But either way, Argentina is a great place for a young man to visit. Have fun!

Bariloche in the winter for skiing, Mar del Plata in the summer for the beaches...but don't forget Buenos Aires, where you can have lots of fun year-round.

Also remember, seasons are switched vs. North America (summer there is during USA's winter, and vice versa).

I have to agree with jrcabr2001.
Buenos Aires rocks specially if you love nightlife.
but of course it depends on what you are looking, for, and what would you like to do.
if you enjoy Nature and awesome landscapes, I highly recommend visiting Cataratas del Iguazu (Iguazu Falls) for about 3 days

summer Mar del PLata, especially January and early February
winter Bariloche - great skiing

Buenos Aires is incredible too!!

Since I'm partial to warm weather,I recommend Mar del Plata.A summer getaway for most Argentinos and Argentinas.

Without a doubt, Bariloche. There is SO much to do and great food to eat and amazing people. MdP is really overrated and much more for younger people and couples.

I planned on staying a few days in Bari, but ended up there almost 2 weeks.
