Music that would represent modern Buenos Aires?

I want to find a piece of music or two that would clearly represent modern Buenos Aires.

So contemporary, limited on lyrics or instrumental - guitar, maybe nuevo tango?

I am most gratfeful for a top 3.

Any ideas? Something poular in the charts maybe?

I listened the other night to something called Techno Tango which I liked a lot. Something like the theme Roxanne in Moulin Rouge, where the tango rhythm is combined with electronic music.

I would recommend just about anything by:

Federico Aubele
Tanghetto
Gotan Project

Try these specific songs:
Federico Aubele - Postales

Tanghetto - Inmigrante

Tanghetto - Biorritmo

Gotan Project - Santa Maria (del Buen Ayre)

Gotan Project - Diferente

Diego Torres

Modern Buenos Aires.. : BABASONICOS.

Anything of argentine rock .. besides the tired tango.. argentina is known in latin america for rock. THeY ARE FANATICS.

I mention babasonicos above all the great musicions because there is one song of them that always transports me back to Buenos Aires "el colmo". Remiscent of a stroll along Belgrano, Recoleta, or Palermo.

Luis Alberto Spinetta, the most influential musician in rock music in Argentina. Try downloading the song cheques or muchacha ojos de papel.

bye
