Do Argentine men like women of mixed (black/white) origin?

I live in Canada and am going on an exchange to Buenos Aires next year but I am a bit worried because I know that there aren't many black people in Argentina. I was wondering if anyone could tell me what type of women Argentines generally go for and if they find darker/not white skin attractive. Also, are men there attractive? Are they players?

Argentine men for the most part are flirtateous,consider themselves to be connosiours of women,they appreciate awoman if only for a brief moment & race is not the paramount consideration,for they have been exposed to all races,they fantasize about all women.Bcause you would not be the norm,you would be considered exotic& they would love to have arm candy to stroll with. Argentine men are no more likely to be players than any other nationality,but they do have that savoire faire that American ,British, Canadian men seem to lack.Latins seem to appreciate the opposite sex & have a way of making you feel adored,sexy & desirable no matter the color.Yes they are most attractive,having been told so often in their lives by their Mama's,they grow up believing it. Players?? really now!! no more so than others,but just better at it.!! If you would like to dabble in romance,being in Argentina is a rewarding romantic sojourne,fleeting but wonderful interlude. Just don't get your heart broken,nor put all your eggs in one basket.Every woman,regardless of color should have at least one colorful,romantic,mad passionate Latin in her life to reflect back on in old age ,great memories,but no long term expectations.

I'm an argentinian girl, so my answer can help you. Ppl here don't mind skin color. Yup, some of them can be players and some of them can be nasty if you are not a perfect beauty. I think it's like everywhere in the world.
About your question about if they are attractive, Argentina heritage is Spaniard, German, french, and some more. We don't have really ethnic traces like in some other latin country, like prominent cheekbones, etc.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Come down here and have fun. Just keep an eye on your wallet and your belongings. Some ppl love to rip off tourists.
Oh, one more thing, if you don't want to socialize with argies, there are millions of pubs that houses a lot of exchange students, so you can go and have fun with them.

Yes. There are black people, not too many but you can find 2 or 3. Have in mind that there are stealers, muggers and Carton-Searchers. These people searches specially in People who came from far places. They can steal car parts, expensive cars are aimed for these people.
There can be women that prefers darker skin attractive. Beware of Racism (if occurs), there are two ways to understand "*****" (spanish-talking people consider it as an insult) an can be understood in:
1- Black Skin Man / Women
2- People who doesn't have manners, stealer looking, or those who have not much money.

Attractive men... sometimes. You can see some people images at Big Brother's web site (www.bigbrother.com) and search for Big Brother in Argentina. Have in mind that it's an example of Argentina People (don't consider it that all the people looks like those).
A most important thing: If you have a house in Argentina, keep it clean and don't have stucked water or rotten food. There is an alert of a mosquito or a bug, called Dengue. Causes Vomit, not have food appetite, high body temperature, and much of those things.
In Argentina there isn't much jobs that give you sufficent money for all your needs. You have to be a Professional or have already a good job there. Dollars are great for Argentina. Beware of Shop Dealers, they can make you pay the double for something that you want (only because you are from Canada).
Decide it very much, depends much things. You should save money very stored for a flight to Canada and use MSN Messenger of Yahoo! Messenger and acquire the emails of all your friends for chatting them in Argentina.

Truth is... we like them all.
We don麓t care wether you麓re black, yellow, white, red or blue.
As a matter of fact, being black can be a good thing here, being as there are so very few black people in this country, you can get to be the center of attention for at least a while.
And regarding the word *****/Negra, you are almost bound to be called like that, but not as an insult, our way to talk is weird, cause almost every word can be insulting and every word can be gentle, it all depends on how you say it.
For example, even though ***** refers of course to the people with dark skin, and it can also be used as an insult for people with no manners and etc. It is also a way to call the people you care about, I call my friends "*****" when I talk to them, they call me that way, and even my father still calls me "*****" from time to time.

PS. Wether we麓re attractive or not... that麓s entirely up to you and what you like, and yes, men here tend to be players (not me of course! my wife would kill me :D
