Apartments for rent in Buenos Aires, what could be a good option?

I'm gonna be in Buenos Aires soon and planning to stay for a long while, what would be a good option to stay at? Do I choose an agency or a hotel? Can anyone give me some advise? Tnx !

Hi Sonia, you can do a a research on prices before coming, these are some useful websites to compare: http://www.alojargentina.com/ http://www.bytargentina.com/ http://www.ojopropiedades.com/ and http://www.friendlyapartments.com/ (the first two with more variety, the third one has a cool donating campaign and the fourth one is my favorite because the apartments they rent are perfect in decoration and location). You will find many other companies if you search on the internet, the provided before are some I trust because I used them to offer to some clients. However, the best option will be staying for a couple of days in Buenos Aires in a hostel or hotel and look for cheaper prices once you are here, in hostels for example there are adds offering apartments and people willing to share apartments, of course you will find better prices and looking for them here will let you visit them before renting which is great. Let me know if I can give you further help, I have some friends from the States and even from Argentina (his house is under redisigning, that's why he rents a furnish apartment) that rented great deals in Recoleta and Palermo. Hope this info helps!

I would check out Nancy Landi International - www.NancyLandi.com - they have fantastic apartments and great customer service. Report It

without a doubt rent an apartment. If you are going to be in Buenos Aires for a while the best thing to do would be to move into a bed and breakfast for the first few days and then go see a few apartments before renting on out. I have rented several apartments in BA and have had wonderful experiences each time.

I'd rather rent an apartment cause it gives you more intimacy and you can arrange social meetings, have dinner with friends and stuff.
I've rented with Alojargentina, I had domestic service, friendly operators, the apartment was very nice and had a good furniture, TV, Internet and stuff. I think is better than a hotel, I would recommend that.

I travel often to BA and I've tried www.livingbaires.com, www.buenosairesapartments.com and http://www.alojargentina.com. I think they're all the same, though Alojargentina people was very nice and efficient.
