What is the best burger in buenos aires?

am staying in buenos aires and read an article about a local place that had great burgers served with heart of palm. want to try it out but can't locate the article! help please.

The Best hambuerger in B.A is served in a cafe called Hipopotamus. On defensa street. I dont remember the intersection but i believe is Brasil street. The neighborhood is San Telmo
Is just across the street from Parque Lezama. Every taxi driver can take you there. As reference you can ask for the old "Bar Britanico" that closed a few months ago, it is also across the street.
The hamburger is a 3/4 lb home made burger, with everything, great fries and bacon. I use to love it, now i live in Seattle...
Try the milanesa there too.

Well it's true what they say yet you can allways count with those small bars with great homy hamburgers :P I live in Las Ca帽itas and it's a great with some cool places like CANTEGRIL with huge burgers with bacon and rost onion or PERICA, where you can sit outside and enjoy the breeze. Report It

maybe you should ask in the argentinian yahoo answer section. ask: "en buenos aires, donde venden hamburguesas con palmitos que estan muy buenas?"

Argentina is not "the" place to eat burgers.
Here we eat steaks, great steaks.

In 6 years living there (1997-2003) I have never had a good burger in BA outside of McDonald's and Wendy's. Wendy's left the country in 2000.

Go for a Lomo or Chorizo, BA is not for Burgers.

Burgers? Yeah right. You go to Aregntina for the steaks, not burgers!
