I鈥檓 thinking to go to argentine for a vacation but I can鈥檛 talk Spanish what do u think I should do?

you don't need to know the language of every country you want to visit, otherwise if want to go to Europe you should need to speak spanish, french, italian, etc.

Go and enjoy your time there.

You don't need Spanish. Argentine is a big country and in the big cities there's always someone that speaks English.

If you insist in learning some, check out Rosetta Stone. It's the best and fastest language learning program there is.

go to hawaii

If you have the time before you go, take an adult education class at your local school. They usually last a few weeks but at least you would have a basic knowledge of spanish when you got there.

buy and take one of those talking language dictionary gizmos with you

i understand your concern, it happened to me as well i was in new york and my friend made a ticket for me to travel to buenos aires with him for a couple months, so i did not have much of a choice so i went along.
at the beginning it is hard to get around, so the best thing is to go around with a friend who lives there and he/she will help you out to go from one place to another and i advise you to get a book called "learn spanish in 24 hours" that book was my life saver you don't have to spend so much money to go to a class all it costs is $15.00, and if you plan on going now in February it is a good time because there are a lot of tourists so you will feel very comfortable around people who speak english.
ENJOY!

i would not go if ther eis no one to translate that you trust. It is a beautiful country with financial troubles and no jobs and they are very unstable at the time. They do not like Americans too much either

I am argentina and in buenos aires many people, speak english (i am not studie anywere and i can speak and write a little bit), or french and portugues, and in every hotel, restaurant and shopping you will be understand.

SORRY, I DON麓T SPEEK ENGLISH WELL.

Do not worry here also they speak Englishman and treat well the tourists, but ask the daughters of Bush him her him

Don't go.. Although there are many people that speak English in the main cities of Argentina, not speaking Spanish just makes you another gullible tourist for them to rip off and rob. Go somewhere where u can speak the language.

Well. you can send me a ticket and I'd be your interpreter... just kidding.

English is well spoken at least in Buenos Aires. It is the most European city in Latin America. And generally, the people are very well educated.
