Travelling from Bristol Parkway to Cribbs Causeway...Advice!!?

(Thank you for the previous answers) just realised my train is going to Parkway and my boyfriends was to Temple Meads so we're both getting off at Parkway as it is the closest to Cribbs.

So from there, which buses should we take? How much in a taxi? Are the buses regular to and from Cribbs to Parkway, just that our train home isn't until 730pm?

I can't picture where Bristol Parkway is, is it close to the city centre?...we were planning on going into the city for dinner but not if it means more public transport!!

See http://www.mallcribbs.com/bus_route.php for details of buses to Cribbs Causeway from Parkway, they run regularly.

Realistically you will need to get a bus into Bristol centre for dinner

Bristol parkway is quite a distance from the town centre. when you come out of the station, you will see all the taxis lined up waiting there, dont take one, as they will happily extort you. take a bus instead, i should think thered be one going to cribbs causeway. just check either in the station or the information boards in the bus shelters

Taxi from Parkway to Cribbs would only be a few pounds.
(May even be cheaper than 2 bus fares)

Parkway is North Bristol (Filton/Stoke Gifford)

Buses can take you into the centre, it's a 20-30 mins journey + initial waiting time.
A taxi to the Centre would cost a fair bit I would think.

There are busses to Cribbs Causeway from Bristol Parkway. They run about half-hourly during the day.
You could walk it in about an hour. Route: walk to Stoke Gifford-Little Stoke-Patchway-Patchway Roundabout-"Old By Pass"- Cribbs Causeway.

Bristol Parkway is not close to the city centre but the trains to and from the north of England link it to Temple Meads.

There are loads of busses from Cribbs Causeway into the City Centre. The journey is about 35 minutes.

You can find all of it on Google Maps by entering the search strings "Bristol Parkway Station" and "Cribbs Causway". Play with the map views and zooms (and satellite views) and you'll soon get your bearings. If you haven't used Google Maps it's just a tab at the top left of the ordianry Google search engine home page.
You could also look up the local bus routes (see link below).

Parkway is in South Glos, I hate the way they say "Bristol"

Get a cab, only a foiver. What a great oideal!
