Safari park?

Is it correct that there is gonna be a Safari Park near Cribbs Causeway, seeing as Bristol Zoo made such a cock up?

The 'Safari Park' will actually be the new location for Bristol Zoo when they finally get the funding to move and the planning approval from the relevant local authority. This has been on the cards for nearly a decade now.

This is what Bristol Zoo's annual report says:

"The Society鈥檚 current strategic plans include
the setting up of a new National Wildlife
Conservation Park at the Hollywood Tower
Estate. A successful outcome is dependent
on the Society meeting the challenges such
a major project presents and raising the
necessary funds."

In January 2006, the Zoo unveiled pioneering plans for its innovative new conservation action centre to be developed on the northern outskirts of Bristol. Scheduled to open in 2012, the 拢62 million, 55 hectare National Wildlife Conservation Park will forge a new benchmark for how zoos can support conservation in the wild and establish a more influential position for zoos in the global conservation movement.
