Does anyone know a good, reasonable hotel in the Brisbane CBD that's close to a train station?

me and a friend are going to Brisbane to see a concert at the entertainment centre. we're just staying one night but we'll have 2 full days so would like to stay somewhere centrally located in the CBD. But at the same time we'll be catching a train home from the show late at night and need somewhere within a 5-10min walk from one of the city train stations...
Price range is anything $150/night or under.

If you are willing to have a bit of a walk from Brunswick Street railway station , there is the Medina Excutive apartments on Ivory lane ( next to Storey Bridge.

Or the Rendevous Hotel opposite the Central railway station may do deals. Or there is the Astor Motor inn on Wickham tce.

Best to check with the hotels for special deals or use Wotif com

City train stations are Roma Street and Central, the Entertainment Centre is at Boondall on the Shorncliff line.

The Ibis hotel is $129 and $139 per night for a standard room with Queen bed . It is very close to Roma Street station. I always book my hotels through wotif.com just a couple of days before hand as one can get some super deals with huge savings. The Mecure is just around the corner from the Ibis and you can get a lovely river view from the Mecure. Both these hotels are centrally situated . Don't be afraid to ask for an up grade when you arrive as you can often get one if they have plenty of spare rooms at no extra charge.

The Ibis Hotel is very good as I have stayed there myself and your right in the CBD, with walking distance to most of the City.
