Holiday stay in Caloundra or Maroochydore or elsewhere on Sunshine Coast? |
Hi, we have plans to move to the sunshine coast. We would like to havce a good look around to decide which area would be nice to live (not just hoiliday) Thinking of Caloundra or Maroochydore. Does anyone know a place to stay, motel or self contained units that are lovely and clean but not too expensive? Advise about where you think we should choose to move would be most welcome too! :) Thanks! I live in Caloundra and it has excellent beaches and scenic hinterland, as does the entire region of the Sunshine Coast. Caloundra is generally regarded as a family holiday destination. There are many holiday units for rent that have beautiful views and would be reasonably priced. Maroochydore is busier and closer to all the major nightlife spots including greater choice of restaurants. Good luck and Welcome. They are all nice suburbs and the ones that say the west side, are more inland away from the beach. The closer to the beach the higher the price in rental and the worse the traffic is at peak hour.... Mt Tamborine is amazing and about an hour drive from Brisbane at the most, there are areas called Chambers Flat and Jimboomba for example but they do not have all the stunning veiws that the mounti... I live 12 k from cbd and it is raining cats and dogs mate :) ...I stayed there with the kids in 1998. It's very family-friendly and within walking distance to most things. Broadbeach is a great place to stay! ...Something like The Whitsunday Islands would be very romantic. ...To my knowledge there is not a single 24-hour pharmacy in Brisbane. However, there is one at 332 Old Cleveland Road, Coorparoo that opens 7 days a week (including public holidays) from 8am to 11p... oh go to moorooka best hairdresser there.. im only joking do not go there your hair will end up sheeetay go to a stefans at garden city yes you would be familiar with that. ...Yes. You can also hire small lockers to keep them in while you walk around, but make sure they're in insulated containers to keep them cool. ... |
