Large Properties in Brisbane?

I'd like to move to Brisbane later this year and I'm looking to buy a large property in hopes of opening a bed and breakfast. I'm looking for a property with quite a few acres. Being from America, I'm not sure where all the large properties are located. Obviously I can't expect to find a country house right in the city, so hopefully someone can tell me where I should look. I'm willing to be a maximum of 100km out of Brisbane. So basically my question is which suburb would I most likely find a lot of land?

Mt Tamborine is amazing and about an hour drive from Brisbane at the most, there are areas called Chambers Flat and Jimboomba for example but they do not have all the stunning veiws that the mountians will offer, Mt Tamborine is near Beaudesert i think, so just follow that road. [Beaudesert Rd] Or you could invest in a map. Chrismas creek would also be a great place as people are always going there to camp and stuff but thats all, it is also near Beaudesert. Another good place is in the Gold Coast Hinterland around that area is amazing. Or even up near stanthorpe or warwick is very desirable. But its a few hours from Brisbane
On the north side you should try Glasshouse mountains as someone said before, they are spectacular.

Good luck

Caboolture is one place and another is Glasshouse Mountains area, Wamuran and Morayfield. These are north of Brisbane.

caboolture area isn't too bad but it is also worth trying to find somewhere where there isn't another in close proximity. I know that there is one already in Deception Bay and a few in the Redcliffe area.

I have attached 2 links.... one is for real estate and the other is telephone listings for bed and breakfasts to look up on some maps or maybe Google Earth

Anywhere in The Hinterland Maleny area around The Glass house mountains North of Brisbane is beautiful Or Beerwah area near The Irwins Australia Zoo. The goldCoast Hinterland around Springbrook or Lamington national park or Tambourine Mountain.
