Where should we go in Cape Cod? |
Where in Cape Cod can my boyfriend and I along with a group of friends go for a weeks vacation? Is Marthas Vineyard the only option for young people in their late 20s? No, there are plenty of place to go on the Cape...you can rent a house in the Hyannis area or Yarmouth and take day trips all over the Cape...a few day trips are to Provincetown to walk around, enjoy the shops, eat lunch or even take a whale watch cruise from there...also on the way to P-Town is Wellfleet...the beaches here are awesome...I like the Beachcomber and it's a great nightclub as well...Hyannis, Yarmouth and Dennis all have really good night life too and nice beaches as well...from Hyannis, you can also take a ferry to the Vineyard or even Nantucket..both day trips or you can stay for a few days on each...the Vineyard is great but don't feel as though you have to limit yourself to just there...have a great time!! Not sure why you think you need to leave the Cape and go to the Vineyard. Are you familiar with the area? There is the Cape, which is a long beach area that boarders the ocean and the bay. Nearby there are two islands, Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket. All are great and all offer different things. Go to P-Town....... I like Eastham too, in fact I live there! You didn't say when you are coming. The lower cape (harwich - p-town) doesn't really get into fll swing until May. We're "old" but we have a house with a porch and we hang out there almost every night. If you are looking to get away from it all you may want to look into renting a house with a porch. Walking on the beach at sunset is nice too. Parties, you want to stick to the Hyannis area but don't you party all year? Isn't vacation supposed to be something different? You can rent a house on the beach and look into getting a permit for a fire on the beach.... NO. lol, most ppl in massachusetts have never been to marthas vinyard. its nice there, but cape cod is usually prefered over it. theres lots to do in cape cod. plenty of stores, restaurants and beaches. lots of college kids partying. The Islands are boring. A lot of crowds and high priced little shops. The Cape is much better. You will have fun at any of the places already mentioned above me. Those people know what they are talking about. I know you'll have a great time on any part of the cape. |
