Mexican supermarkets in mass??

I want to make authentic tostadas for my family. I just got home from a 3 month stay in Mexico so I know now that most everything in stop and shop is not "real" mexican food. Is there Mexican supermarkets where I can get real tortillas in the south shore/ boston area?

I know my local Shaw's and Whole Foods and Trader Joe's all have Latin sections with authentic food. The only other thing I can tell you, is Dudley Square has a Latin supermarket....

No there probably is not, as there are no Mexicans. But there are many grocery stores that sell real tortillas, Stop and Shop is not the only place to buy food in the world.

There is a Mexican Rest. in Jamaica Plain and right across is Hi Lo Supermarket - they sell all kinds of Latin Foods - look for the Mexican aisle; there is also one near Dudley Station and is right on Washington St. "El Platanero" they sell all kinds of Spanish foods from all Latin America. In Chelsea there all kinds of markets from Central America but why go so far when you can get it all in one place at a supermarket. I always preferred El Platanero because I know I will find it there what I'm looking for. Good Luck Orale!!!
