Kindergarten teacher? |
how much does a kindergarten teacher make? I agree with most of the info. that you have received from the others; keep in mind that BPS requires a Master's in Ed. Boston teachers are very highly paid, benefits are excellent and ranked third in the nation's best paid teachers. Even you're first year teaching you will have a decent salary. Don't go to Florida - where teachers are over worked, underpaid and Florida is ranked 48 state in the nation of worst places that don't pay teachers - nor do they pay firefightersor policemen - all the service personnel. Boston Public Schools offers its teachers one of the most competitive compensation packages in the state, as well as the unique opportunity to work with diverse student populations in an urban setting. The average salary for Boston teachers is $70,256, which is more than $14,000 higher than the average salary among all Massachusetts cities and towns. Teachers new to BPS who have only a bachelor鈥檚 degree earn $42,355 per year, compared to an average of $37,332 for the 19 communities surrounding Boston. My Mother was a kindergarten Teacher and I suppose that they make alot of Money but your best bet is to check with the area of the school that is going to hire you for their school. Something to keep in mind, the public school teachers in most communities in MA are required to have a master's degree in education. About you could earn $899,4256,112253,4582,24465366,685425657... |
