Bus from Boston to L.I.?

Does anyone know of a bus that goes from Boston to Long Island (ideally, Suffolk County) OTHER THAN the Hampton Jitney? (The Hampton Jitney is great, but it now runs only on holiday weekends.) I have done a lot of searching online but have not found one. Thanks!

Greyhound lines has intercity bus service to NYC. You can be ticketed through from Boston to Babylon, LI (transfer in NYC). Here is a link to local bus service in Suffolk County, with route and route numbers given. Scroll down for pdf files of individual routes. Service runs Monday-Saturday, with one exception.

Your best bet might be to take a bus into NYC (Chinatown bus or other bus to Port Authority), then hop the Long Island Rail Road out to Suffolk. There are lots of buses that do kind of "long-distance local" runs--LI to CT, for example, but I don't know of anything that would go all the way up to Boston.

LIRR is better than a bus anyway--not that expensive, fast, and comfortable.
