New England relocation?

Does anyone have some suggestions about small towns around the Boston area that are slow paced and quaint, please help me with this huge decision!

Obviously the further you get from Boston, the quainter things will be. So, if you are looking for something in the Boston area, there will be a faster pace.

I grew up in Middlesex Valley, out by Concord, MA. West of there, things get rural. However, I don't know how much you're looking to spend or whether you need fantastic school systems.

Here are some choices for you to check out that are 30-45 minutes from Boston:
Sudbury
Lincoln
Hudson
Stow (very rural and quaint)

See what you think of those. You can Google them and look at the websites and figure out whether they're what you need.

Good luck with the move! If you need more advice post more information about what you are looking for - schools, cost of living, distance from Boston, etc.

go to the old England that's the best!!!!

No relativity to quiet, but maybe small. I would move to Foxborough to see a Patriots game! I know this doesn't help but I love the Patriots. :P

The great thing about MA is that depending on the area you can have a very different feel for your way of life. Obviously, the futher out of the city the more "slow paced" things will be. If you're looking for a life by the shore, you could go about an hour away from Boston, and enjoy small towns like Duxbury, or Plymouth. Or, go north and west of the city, and find cities like Concord or other cities more small "town-ish" feel to them.

HAHA slow paced and quaint? are you alright? Small towns here means the town just dousnt have a lot of land. Everything is overcrowded

go 90 miles north to portland, maine--slower paced but lively, half the price of boston, and you're close enought to visit even for just a day--i know tons of people who moved here from boston
