My brother worked for Boston Edison, and he said it was better to like outside the city. I guess we are all finding that in the cities were we are located. Thank God for modern transportation mehods. Beacon Hill Beacon Hill (if you can afford it) Live out near Ayer, Leominster, Gardner, Worchestershire, Shirley, Concord, etc and enjoy the countryside! Save wear and tear and take the train. Brookline V-stario, beverly is full of junkies and the people there are always angry and depressed and hate each other. I use to work up there, what a bunch of nut cases beacon hill....it's gorgeous but pricey I like the NorthShore. Beverly, Lynn, Salem... places like that. SALEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! There are some nice parts of cambridge if you are considering central square here is a site that will tell you all kinds of places in central square. Becan Hill is gorgeous; and you occasionally see a few "famous" passer-goers such as Christopher Walkin (From Hairspray and various films) The govener of Mass. (Deval Patrick) A few red sox players, and the most recent was Giselle one of the Victorias Secret Models. Try one of those areas that have a lot of college and post-college kids (Allston, Brighton, or even adjacent Cambridge or Somerville). They have lower rents, a lot of single people, clubs, and restaurants that are affordable. |
