What do you call someone from Massachusetts?

this has led to so many awkward moments. i live in providence and frequently run into mass-a-whatevers.

everyone I know just says bostonian even if they're aren't from the city of boston.

haha. I grew up there. We either get called Massholes or Bostonians, depends on where they are from in MA.

Probably a Bay Stater, or Bostonian, But, theres also a city in Massachusetts called, Worcester (Woostah) and, theyre called Worcesterites.

If it's about driving, we're called Massholes (and I'm proud to be one!), most people from Massachusetts call themselves Bostonians to outsiders because it's easier to explain. I'm originally from Cape Cod, so I was called a Cape Coder. I've never heard anyone call us a Massachusettser lol.

We are actually called Baystaters because massachusetts is the baystate...although i'm a self proclaimed masshole....I hate being called a chowda head because i'm from the western part of mass therefore i pronouce my r's

Left lane on the highway is for PASSING ONLY
And when there is a slight bend in the highway DON'T SLOW DOWN


They go the same speed in both lanes and create clusterf**ks.
And they don't know how to MERGE.
If you haven't noticed how there is backup on the highway when people are trying to get on...traffic actually STOPS because a few cars need to get on the highway...IDIOTS!
On regular roads they either go 20 over the speed limit or 20 under.

So for those who wear the name proudly...we all laugh at you!
