Bermuda travelers?

I'm going to bermuda in october of '08. Just wondering what's good there.
I really like to snorkel and was looking at Tobacco Bay. good place? if not where are good snorkeling places, and is it easy to get around?
what's it like there and stuff. any info you have would be appriciated. I'm going there on a cruise and have 3 days. I want to be in the water as much as possible.

If you are docking at Ordinance Island or Bennos wharf in the Parish of St George's Tobacco Bay and St Catherine Point are awesome places to snorkel and sun Bathe. They are also walking distance from where your boat will be. However, October gets a bit chilly for summer sports and could be hit or miss. If you are docking at Dockyard or Hammilton you will want to find closer places as you are on a time constraint. Check out what frommer's had to say I put the links there for you:
At the eastern end of the south shore, John Smith's Bay, east of Spittal Pond Nature Reserve and Watch Hill Park, is another top spot, especially if your hotel is nearby. Even more convenient, especially for snorkelers staying at St. George or at a hotel near the airport, is Tobacco Bay, north of St. George's Golf Club. Another good small snorkeling spot is West Whale Bay; it lies along the south shore at the west end of Southampton, west of the Port Royal Golf Course.
