Any one in Gent Belgium know any relatives of the Mertens that lived in Koutersttrat.?

I believe they have changed the name of the street to Morekstratt,
Gustav Theophele Mertens
Pelazie Mertens
Franz Mertens
Margeriete Mertens

Thanks for any info.

Morekstraat (it is straat, Dutch for street, not stratt) does exist in Gent. No idea it had another name before. (Kouterstraat does not exist, Kouter is a famous square in the center, you have also Koutersteeg).

Mertens is a popular name in Belgium so this can be difficult.

I live in Gent and I know some people named Mertens, but no one lives in the area...

Maybe it helps if you have birthdate or age of these persons, or other information?

I searched the phonebook but found no Mertens living in that street.
