I am looking to see if the HOtel Spaloumont is still standing.i found post cards my dad had durring the war.?

he has a post card showing where he had a room in the Spaloumont hotel,any help maybe web site or links?

Apparently "Spaloumont" is a street in Spa. As Spa is well known for it's water sources (natural water that is bottled) there are a lot of hotels.
if your postcard has a picture of the hotel, you can try to look at the Internet and hope that you find it.
If you like, you can scan the postcard and mail it to me. I'll then try the find out which hotel it is.

If I remember correctly Spaloumont is a contraction of Spa/Chevremont. Spa is the famous thermal water site in the NE of Belgium with the nearby Formula one track Francorchamps. I think the hotel you are looking for is (was) located outside Spa (In Chevremont) overlooking the city. Go to www.Belgacom.be (Belgian phone company) and when asked what you are looking for type hotels---Spa. Or to Google and type Spa Belgium.The touristic page will list all hotels. The problem here is that hotels change many times from owner and name.
