...is moving to austin texas. i would like pros/cons(pros other than it's the name of my crush).

Pros:
+ great original/mom and pop restaurants (so there is no reason to eat at trendy chains)
+ good schools
+ plenty of nice parks and swimming holes (plus, beautiful hill country views)
+ diverse population of friendly people
+ fun nightlife - plenty of good bars, clubs, and music venues
+ great museums and art exhibits
+ environmentally conscious for the most part

Cons:
- sometimes it is a bit too liberally opinionated
- the current mayor has been busy pimping out the city to high-rise condos which are ruining the downtown area....

Well, I live in Austin and...
Pros: Lots of place to go out and to hang out with friends.
Cons: If she lives Downtown, then there will be a lot of noise!
I really cant think of anything else...srry! :(
