Travel from Basel/Mulhouse to Montpellier? |
I would like to travel to Montpellier over the easter break with my mom and son. The problem is that I can't find direct flights and the trains take 8+ hours, indirect flights are incredibly expensice. Any suggestions for an alternative route. Stopping over for a night somewhere in both directions is not a problem. I have looked into things a little further and the Eurail pass is the cheapest option to get there. It allows 4 days travel which mean that i can break the trip there and back into segments. see : www.sncf.fr Well, there are no direct flights but I'm not sure what you consider "incredibly expensive" since a quick search reveals the price for flights via Paris at $387 round trip with advance purchase. |
