Are planes scary?

I am traveling to Paris this summer, and i'm afraid of the plane, and the plane ride. Will someone tell me what it's like??
I'm scared:(

I'd recommend looking up videos of flights to Paris on youtube. That way you will know what to expect.

Don't worry, its quite loud and youll feel some funny sensations but once you get off the ground you will be fine apart from a few bumps

it depends on what airline u r taking and the weather....man i got freaked out twice on the plane coz of the excessive shaking...but if all go well it's just comfortable

My wife used to be a terrible flier. She used to get all worked up about flying days before we were due to fly. Eventually I told her I would not be flying with her again because she was so embarassing on a flight. She had to take a flight from Scotland to the US and was terrified. I bought a "Fear of Flying" hypnotherapy tape by Paul McKenna and played it for my wife. She listened to it twice and fell asleep both times. When the time came for her to fly to the USA she was notg worried at all and since then has flown back and forwards to the US as well as all over Europe. I suggest if you are worried about flying you should try buying one of Paul McKenna's "Fear of Flying" hypnotherapy CD's.

Its kinda like a rollercoaster....when you take off and land, thats really the only fun part of taking a plane. When you up in the air it really boring!! My ears always pop!! But not scary at all!

Well no there not scary...

you get on the plane go to paris and come back end f story !!!
maybe there will be a few bumps on the way but that is normal !

its ok riding a plane isn't scary during takeoff it isn't fast as you think the only thing will happen is you will feel like you are getting pulled backwards and hear the engines roaring loudly
once your at crusing altitude, you will feel like your at home.

when the plane lands, you will feel a little bumpy and feel like getting pushed foward and the reverse trust will be set and you will hear it roaring loud once again

watch this and hear the reverse thrust:
