What is the cheapest website for airline tickets?

I am flying out from California to Ohio. Any suggestions? I am planning to fly out 6 months in advance.. I am flying out in August of this year.

With 6 months, I think you will get the cheapest fare if you sign up for a good sale alert such as http://www.farecompare.com -- enter your cities and click "research cheapest airfares." It shows you the cheapest for the upcoming 11 months, and rates them based on how cheap they've been in the past. For example, a 4 star fare means it probably won't get much if any cheaper. A 1 star fare means wait for a better offer if you have time. I'd book 90-21 days in advance; more than 90 and you might miss a good sale; less than 21 and you no longer qualify for the cheapest advance purchase fares. Farecompare will sort you out.

kayak.com. It actually just compiles all the other sites so you don't have to go to each one to look. Has very flexible search criteria.
