Can you have an ipod out and listening to it on an airplane even with the new air regulations? Any device that has a power source and an on/off switch will need to be powered off, and remain powered off anytime the aircraft is below 10,000 feet. Announcements are made when the use of APPROVED portable electronic devices can be used or need to be turned off. yes you can, but you would have to put it on the highest volume depending on your ipod. Be careful though cause if you forget to turn the volume back down, and listen to it on the ground, then it will hurt your ears. You can listen to it, but you have to have it turned off until the pilot announces you can turn electronics on again. |
