Has anyone flown on an Embraer RJ145? I am 6'6" tall and 280 lbs. I have a seat that is alone on its side.

the plane has 1 seat per row on one side of the aisle and 2 per row on the other. I fear that it may prove to be very cramped. Any tall passenger experiences will most helpful.

The regional jet is not really comfortable for anyone over six feet. It will help to a degree that you have that 1 seat. I flew in an RJ145 and had the seat to myself. Definitely was better than sharing a row with someone. Still will be a bit cramped though. Enjoy the flight anyway.

It probably won't be the most pleasant flight, but you should be alright. The one seat row is out further from the window, so you have more shoulder room, what you wont have is much head room. Hope that helps.

I'm 6'1'' and 180lbs and its certainly a small plane for us taller folks. Generally, if you have the single seat, you can shift/stretch to the aisle to avoid cramping your legs. Granted, I'm not as tall as you, but I usually book an aisle seat for just that purpose. I believe the armrest folds up if you find your bulk being squished uncomfortably.

Mind if I ask where to/from? I have to fly on that plane outta Boston/D.C. to Canada a lot.
