Is flying northwest airlines as safe as all other airline carriers? |
I've heard from a lot of people that northwest airlines isnt the "safest" company to fly with. Is this true? I've heard Its safer flying with anyone else but them Northwest is a lot safer than than African or South American Airlines and about the same as other North American Airlines. As far as personal safety is concerned all of the airlines require you to go through the same security checkpoints. So personal safety should be the same as other airlines. HOWEVER, I have had my luggage lost twice (Delivered several hours later or the next day)on Northwest airlines, so if you mean the safety of your luggage then possibly not. Commercial flight, regardless of carrier, is, statically speaking, the safest form of mass transportation. Quanta's Airlines has never had a crash or flight fatality in it's history. |
