Do Air Planes Have a wirless Network I can Use When i fly? |
Do Air Planes Have a wirless Network I can Use When i fly? Not yet, there was an internet service available on a few airlines called Connexion by Boeing that was discontinued at the end of 2006. Sometime this year many airlines plan on providing wi-fi on their planes, Alaska and American Airlines and others have already announced their plans. JetBlue provides a IM and e-mail service for Yahoo users, although no internet is available. Expect to pay a premium price for internet service when it's introduced though. Not all do. I heard some airlines are testing out wireless internet onboard, so you have to find out which ones are testing it. |
