Do you have to by tickets directly from the airliner to get frequent flyer miles? |
or can you still get ff miles when you buy tickets off of websites such as expedia, orbitz, priceline etc? No you dont need to buy ticket with the airline, and it's more expensive to buy directly. No. Most online ticket services allow you to enter your frequent flyer account information. I often buy tickets from Expedia and have my frequent flier #s stored there. They are automatically added to my tickets. If you forget, you can ask the agent upon check in. Or if you're really late, you can even request credit after you fly. Doesn't matter where you got the tickets. You can still get the miles but you won't get the bonus for booking on line. |
