The rules....?

I am flying from McKinelyville, Ca to Los Angeles, Ca and im flying on Alaskin airlines. I was wondering if anyone knew of a website that had a list of stuff thats allowed on the planes and whats not. I also have a baby that im taking with me so i was wondering if powder formula is allowed or not. Do you know if cameras or cds, cds players or MP3 players are allowed, not being used but just in a carry on or in a check in bag? Thanks for the help.

When packing, make sure that you are not taking any forbidden items with you and that all liquids are in containers less that 3oz (100ml) and in a one clear zip-top bag no bigger than 1 quart (1 liter). Here is where you can find out what is allowed and what is prohibited:

As long as your child is with you, you are able to take as much formula, breast milk, or regular milk that you will need for you child for the duration of the time you will spend in the airport and on the flight (as long as it is within reason). And no, you will NOT have to taste it - no matter what form you bring it in.

All that you must do is:

1. Separate the milk from the liquids, gels, and aerosols in your quart-size (1 liter) zip-top bag.
2. Declare you have the items to one of the Security Officers at the security checkpoint.
3. Present these items for additional inspection once reaching the X-ray. These items are subject to additional screening

New regulations also allow you to take beverages (including water) from home as long as they are less than 3oz (100ml), -OR- beverages (including water) of any size that you have purchased from inside the security area onto planes. You can also bring a limited amount of baby food, yogurt, cheese, puddings, etc. with you also as long as they are in containers less than 3oz (100ml)

Save your money when it comes to buying water though because the Flight Attendants will provide you with hot or cold water (or any other drink) free at any time that you request, no matter how many times you request it.

I've written articles that give more in-depth information, talk about traveling with children, plus give security rules and regulations for the US, UK, EU, and Australia. If you like, you can reference it: http://www.angelfire.com/jamiehassen79/t...

If I can be of any more help or assistance, please feel free to contact me.

go to www.tsa.gov

If you go on the web page of the airline, it should have a rules and procedures page, or a policys page. If not, call the airline, because I am sure someone there would be willing to help you.

This is a good site and will adv you what you can/cannot take

Travelers may transport the following items in larger quantities provided they are removed from the carry-on baggage and separately declared to the TSA if they are not contained in a clear, transparent, resealable 1 quart size plastic bag and/or are over 3.4 ounces (100ml):
* Baby formula/milk, juice, and baby food in small containers, providing an infant or small child is traveling

As for the electronics they're allowed on cary on or check as long as you don't go over your size limit.

Hope this helps! :)

everything is allowed on board...

laptop, MP3, cd player.. anything...

even cake dough..

thing that are not allowed...

weapons... of all kind...
